I’m Grisell Prado Luna ⭐⭐
I became a doula because it is my way of giving back to my community.
My mother came to this country and had to navigate the healthcare system on her own. She faced the challenges of pregnancy, birth, and motherhood while learning how to navigate a system that was unfamiliar to her. Along the way, she was supported by members of her community who helped guide her, care for her, and remind her that she was not alone.
I carry that experience with me.
The support my mother received from her community made a difference in her life, and I want to continue that same spirit of support for other families. Becoming a doula is my way of paying that kindness forward.
I want every family I support to feel heard, respected, informed, and cared for. I want them to know that they don’t have to navigate pregnancy, birth, or postpartum alone.
My mother was supported by her community, and now I have the privilege of being part of that community for someone else.

Hi, I’m Aaliyah Rose Espinosa! 🩷
Before stepping into the world of doula work, I was working as a nanny while pursuing my education and working toward a career in nursing. As my nanny children grew older and began attending school, my schedule began to open up. That’s when my mother, who is also a doula, introduced me to the world of birth work.
I began by shadowing her, attending births, and learning firsthand what it means to provide compassionate, knowledgeable, and continuous support to families. After completing my training, I was fortunate enough to support my first client through her birth. That experience confirmed what I already felt in my heart: this was the work I was meant to do.
Being able to support women during one of the most transformative moments of their lives brings me an incredible sense of purpose. I’m equally passionate about postpartum support and helping new mothers feel cared for, empowered, and connected as they navigate the beautiful and often overwhelming transition into motherhood.
It is an honor to be welcomed into such an intimate and meaningful part of a family’s journey. I’m grateful to continue learning, growing, and serving families through this work. 🩷

My name is Keianna, and I’m a Full Spectrum Doula with Tender Transitions. I’ve always had a passion for listening, comforting, and supporting people through some of life’s most vulnerable moments.
I’ve been a mother for five years, and becoming a mother for the second time taught me something I didn’t fully understand the first time around. Experiencing postpartum depression showed me how deeply we need community and sisterhood. It made me realize how powerful it can be to have someone beside you who listens without judgment, offers reassurance, and reminds you that you’re not alone. That experience became one of the reasons I chose to become a doula.
I’ve also spent about five years working in the medical field, where I’ve had the opportunity to meet people from many different walks of life and hear their stories. Those experiences taught me that people need more than medical information—they need compassion, someone willing to listen, and someone who can help them understand their options.
As a minority myself, I’m passionate about supporting low-income families, Latino families and immigrants, and the Black & Brown community. I want to help families feel seen, informed, and confident using their voice throughout their journey.

My name is Carla. As a full-spectrum doula, I feel deeply honored to support people through some of the most transformative, vulnerable, and meaningful moments of their lives. I became a doula because I believe every person deserves to feel heard, respected, informed, and cared for throughout their journey into parenthood and beyond.
Raising my baby girl on my own has taught me so much about my emotions, my strength, my resilience, and my worth. It has also shown me just how important support can be during such a life-changing chapter. I often wished I had someone beside me before, during, and after my pregnancy—someone who could have helped me navigate the emotional changes, challenges, uncertainties, and beautiful moments that come with becoming a mother.
That experience became part of the reason I chose this path. I want to be the person I once wished I had: a steady, compassionate, and nonjudgmental presence who listens, offers comfort and encouragement, shares knowledge, and reminds mothers that they do not have to figure everything out alone.
My hope is to create a safe and nurturing space where families feel seen, understood, empowered, and supported in trusting themselves, their bodies, and their choices. It is a privilege to walk alongside families during such an important chapter of their lives, and I am grateful to bring the support, compassion, and care I once longed for into my community.
